Description: Nursing Administration - Float Registered Nurse (RN) Department: Nursing Administration Status Hours: Full-time, 72 hours bi-weekly Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Includes: Weekend & holiday rotation Job Summary: Fulton County Health Center is seeking a flexible and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Float RN. The Float RN will be responsible for coordinating and evaluating the nursing care for an assigned number of acute care patients across various departments, including Emergency, CCU, and Med-Surg. This role involves performing a variety of professional nursing duties and supervising LPN and PCT staff on the patient care team. Key Responsibilities: • Provide patient-centered care and collaborate effectively with the healthcare team across multiple departments. • Coordinate and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients, ensuring adherence to established standards of practice and ethics. • Perform a variety of professional nursing duties, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. • Supervise and support LPN and PCT staff, providing guidance and ensuring quality care delivery. • Exercise good judgment, innovation, and discretion in the care of patients. • Maintain effective verbal communication and demonstrate the ability to adapt to changes in patient care requirements. • Participate in ongoing professional growth and development, exploring personal behavior and practice improvements. • Be highly flexible in assignments, adjusting to staffing changes dictated by patient care needs. Requirements: • Current RN license from the State of Ohio Board of Nursing. • Previous experience in Emergency Department, CCU, and/or Med-Surg preferred. • Ability to provide nursing care requiring specialized knowledge, judgment, and skill derived from the principles of biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences. • Strong communication skills, collaborative mindset, and adaptability to change. • Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
