Baptist Health is hiring a Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at our new Baptist SilverLeaf location. This is a PRN, night shift opportunity. This emergency department provides high-quality care to a growing community in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, evidence-based care to emergency patients
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care plans
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Coordinate care with ancillary services
• Serve as a patient advocate
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Registered Nurse

Experience

• 1–2 years Medical Surgical Nursing Experience (required)
• Telemetry Experience (required)
• Emergency Department Experience (preferred)
• Hospital Experience (required)
• Registered Nurse Education & Credential

Requirements

Including patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care. Education of patients/SO/families to their disease process and plan of care. Serves as patient advocate and responsible for providing care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition, including chronic medical and minor injuries or illnesses. *Diploma Nurses must have 5+ years of progressive care.
