Assignment Overview Shift: Evenings, 3x12hrs Hours: 36 hrs/wk Start Date: Aug 24, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 2 American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 4-5 years of ED experience and multiple advanced certifications.
Details Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting Evening shift schedule (3x12 hours), 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM Uses Epic ASAP charting system Floating required in rotation with facility staff, with appropriate orientation provided Some holiday coverage expected Requirements Active RN license (LA state or Compact) currently in hand Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS NRP certification preferred if available ENPC certification is a plus 4-5 years of Emergency Department experience required Level III trauma center or higher experience preferred Epic ASAP charting experience required Additional Information Provide emergency nursing care within a fast-paced ED environment Limited to no RTO approved during this assignment, with any requests needing prior approval and documentation before start Avoid RTO requests during the first two weeks of the assignment or for full calendar weeks off Travel experience is preferred for this role Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
