Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in perioperative nursing, demonstrate excellent communication skills, and be committed to ensuring the highest standards of patient care. Some Saturdays required.

Responsibilities

Provide pre-operative and postoperative nursing care to patients undergoing gastrointestinal procedures. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure a smooth and efficient patient care process. Monitor patients' vital signs, assess their condition, and provide appropriate interventions as needed. Administer medications and treatments according to established policies and procedures. Educate patients and their families on postoperative care and recovery.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Current, active RN license in the state BLS and ACLS certifications required Prior experience in pre-admissions, pre-op, PACU, or surgical setting preferred, willing to train motivated RN’s Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills Ability to prioritize and manage workload effectively in a fast-paced setting Excellent communication and documentation skills
