About this role
*About the role*
Rahal Hair Transplant is hiring a Registered Nurse for our new New York clinic. This is a surgical role in a hair restoration setting. You'll perform graft dissection, assist with extraction, handle graft placement, and manage patient care. Think senior technician with clinical authority, not traditional OR nursing.
Hair transplant procedures are performed under local anesthesia in an outpatient setting.

- Assist with FUE graft extraction
- Dissect and prepare grafts under microscope
- Assist with graft placement
- Administer medications and local anesthesia as directed
- Manage pre-operative and post-operative patient care
- Enforce clinical protocols and sterile technique
- Provide patient education on aftercare and recovery
*What we're looking for*
- Active RN license in New York state
- BLS certification required
- Hair transplant experience strongly preferred. Cosmetic surgery, dermatology, or plastic surgery experience also valued.
- Proficiency with fine motor surgical tasks and microscopic work
- Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a focused surgical environment for extended periods
- Patient-first mindset with strong communication skills
*Training*
If you have a strong surgical or dermatological nursing background but are new to hair restoration, we're open to training the right candidate on hair transplant-specific techniques.
