About this role
The Staff Nurse provides nursing care requiring specialized knowledge judgment and skill derived from the principles of biological, physical, behavioral, social and nursing sciences. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating and directing nursing care with a focus on family centered care for individuals or groups of patients within the assigned scope of practice. Provides care for physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety needs of patients regardless of age and developmental status.
Performs leadership, professional, patient-centered care, quality improvement and safety duties. Participates in staff education and may precept new employees. Performs evidence-based practice and informatics duties.
Supports provider staff and promotes collaboration for quality care and customer service for pediatric patients.

Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- Current BLS Certification from American Heart Association required
- Valid active RN license in Ohio required
- Multistate License (MSL) required within 90 days for telenursing or out-of-state care
- Minimum 2 years of experience preferred
- Experience in pediatric ambulatory care preferred
- Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office required
- Experience with electronic medical record system (EPIC) preferred
