Education
High School Diploma or GED required. Diploma from accredited Vocational/Technical LVN program required.
Experience/training
1 year LVN experience preferred.

Current unrestricted Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license issued by State of California Current Basic Life Support Provider (BLS) issued by American Heart Association
Preferred
Current Intravenous Therapy & Blood Withdrawal Certificate issued by California Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians (BVNPT)

- Communication - Ability to convey and/or receive written/verbal information to/from various audiences in different formats. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Must be able to communicate, verbally and in writing, with staff, customers, and patients over the telephone or in person.
- Regulatory - Ability to use discretion and maintain privacy, confidentiality, or anonymity. Maintains confidentiality of patient care and business matters. Ability to interpret and apply knowledge of State, Federal and Agency standards to comply with regulations. Working knowledge of subject matter domain areas in clinical quality, patient safety, regulatory and reimbursement context. Ability to deliver safe, appropriate, ethical and evidence-based care in an effective, efficient, and professional manner. Incorporates feedback, self-reflection, sound clinical reasoning and problem solving to continuously improve quality of care and operational processes.
- Technical - Ability to use software applications and operate technological devices (e.g., computer, laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.). Strong proficiency using Microsoft Windows and other Microsoft Office software: MS Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint Word, etc. Technical - Ability to operate mechanical/medical devices and/or equipment. Knowledgeable and proficient in the use of health care technology within specialty area.
- Time Management - Ability to demonstrate time management and priority setting skills. Demonstrated success working independently, forging relationships, and managing multiple tasks with minimal directions. Ability to handle multiple demands and/or manage complex and competing priorities. Ability to manage multiple priorities, think tactically as well as strategically. Demonstrating objectivity, delivering results, and show initiative and creativity. Must be able to manage competing priorities, while being extremely adaptable and flexible and maintaining a positive work environment.

Pay Range: The estimated base rate for this position is $30.30 - $45.45.
Additional individual compensation may be available for this role through differentials, extra shift incentives, bonuses, etc. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
