About this role
Where You Will Work
2 West is a 33 bed Med/Surg Observation Unit. Our patient population includes chest pain observation, stroke work up, orthopedic surgeries such as knee replacements, asthma exacerbations, abdominal pain, dehydration, syncope, nausea/vomiting, kidney stones and respiratory illness. 2 West is a fast-paced unit that sees an abundance of discharges and admissions each day.
We encourage our nurses to take part in clinical advancement which includes CNCP program and Med/Surg Certification. If you are interested in Shared Governance, we have opportunities to join our UPC and Length of Stay Workgroup. We have fostered a unit culture of teamwork, psychological safety, and integrity and would love for you to join our 2 West family!
