*Job Overview*
We are seeking an experienced *Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN)* to join *UNC Health Rex* in Raleigh, NC. This is a *PRN/Per Diem* opportunity offering flexible scheduling and competitive pay.
*Responsibilities*
- Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients.
- Perform patient assessments and develop appropriate care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
- Monitor patient conditions and respond quickly to emergencies.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation in accordance with facility standards.
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced ED environment.
*Requirements*
- Active *North Carolina RN License* (or Compact RN License if applicable)
- Minimum *1 year of recent ED/ER experience*
- Current *BLS Certification*
- *ACLS Certification* (Required)
- *PALS* and *TNCC* preferred (if applicable)
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
