*Job Overview*

We are seeking an experienced *Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN)* to join *UNC Health Rex* in Raleigh, NC. This is a *PRN/Per Diem* opportunity offering flexible scheduling and competitive pay.

*Responsibilities*

  • Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients.
  • Perform patient assessments and develop appropriate care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
  • Monitor patient conditions and respond quickly to emergencies.
  • Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Maintain accurate patient documentation in accordance with facility standards.
  • Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced ED environment.

*Requirements*

  • Active *North Carolina RN License* (or Compact RN License if applicable)
  • Minimum *1 year of recent ED/ER experience*
  • Current *BLS Certification*
  • *ACLS Certification* (Required)
  • *PALS* and *TNCC* preferred (if applicable)
  • Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
