Registered Nurse

Lewistown, PA / Part-time — 1099 Independent Contractor We are looking for a dependable, adaptable Registered Nurse to provide in-home vent, trach, and suction services to patients in the Lewistown, PA area. This is a field-based, part-time independent contractor position with structured hours, ideal for an RT who enjoys hands-on, one-on-one patient care in a home setting and is comfortable working across a range of ages, including pediatric patients. Key Responsibilities • Travel to patients' homes to provide ventilator management, tracheostomy care, and suctioning services • Assess patient status and equipment function at each visit, addressing any concerns promptly • Educate patients and caregivers on vent/trach care, suctioning technique, and equipment troubleshooting • Document visits, clinical observations, and equipment status accurately and in a timely manner • Communicate with referring physicians and internal teams regarding patient status and care needs • Provide safe, competent care to patients of all ages, including pediatric patients • Follow all applicable clinical, safety, and regulatory standards Qualifications • Active RN license in good standing • Required: Experience with ventilator and tracheostomy/suction care • Comfortable and willing to work with pediatric patients • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to patient homes • Strong interpersonal and patient education skills • Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented with documentation • Comfortable working independently with a flexible, variable schedule Schedule & Pay • Part-time hours based on patient/service needs • 1099 independent contractor position • Paid per service provided, plus mileage reimbursement Inclusion and equal opportunity We're committed to working with contractors from all backgrounds and engaging talent through a fair, inclusive selection process.
