Honolulu pairs Pacific island beauty with urban convenience, where palm-lined streets meet hospital corridors. Waikiki's shoreline and Diamond Head's slopes frame a compact capital city. Nurses relocating here trade mainland commutes for ocean views, though island living brings unique logistics worth weighing.

About the employer
You would be applying to U.S. Army MWR in Honolulu. There is no posted pay, no schedule, and no unit picture in what we have, so the first useful step is to ask what the shift looks like and what…
Worth asking
The posting doesn’t answer these. Good ones to ask a recruiter or in the interview.
- Can you walk me through base pay range and differentials?
- What should I expect for shifts, weekly hours, weekend, holiday, call, and rotation?
- What orientation, preceptor time, and ongoing unit support are included?
- How are patient load, floating, and staffing support handled day to day?
