Traveling Field Service Technician II

• Hands-On Fabrication & Assembly: Perform precision TIG & MIG welding on stainless steel components directly on customer sites and in our shop.

• Multidisciplinary Troubleshooting: Read schematics and Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) to diagnose complex electrical, mechanical, and electronic issues.

• Factory QA Testing: Participate in Blentech Quality Assurance and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) in Santa Rosa before equipment ships.

• Client Training: Train customer staff and machine operators on system operation, safety, and routine maintenance.

What We’re Looking For

• Welding Proficiency: 2+ years of hands-on experience with TIG & MIG welding, specifically on stainless steel and food-grade equipment.

• Technical & Electrical Literacy: Proven ability to read electrical schematics, control layouts, P&IDs, and troubleshoot automated machinery.

• Road-Ready Flexibility: Willingness to travel up to 80% (including domestic/international flights, weekends, or early mornings based on client needs).

• Physical Capability & Credentials: Valid Driver’s License, ability to lift 40+ lbs., and visual acuity for color-coded wiring.
