We’re looking for a Registered Nurse to join our team as a per diem Occupational Health Nurse , providing care and support to our employees across the organization. This is an opportunity to use your nursing expertise in a role that combines clinical assessment, employee health, workplace safety, education, and prevention.
With a schedule of up to 24 hours per week , this position offers flexibility while allowing you to make a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of our workforce.

- Provide employee health services , including health screenings, review of health assessments, immunizations, and maintenance of confidential employee health records.
- Assess occupational injuries, illnesses, and workplace exposures , providing appropriate care or referral in accordance with clinical guidelines and established protocols.
- Support employees returning to work following injury or illness, including work restrictions, modified schedules, job limitations, and other accommodations.
- Promote a safe and healthy workplace by identifying potential health and safety concerns and participating in the agency’s Safety and Infection Control Committees.
- Support infection prevention and control efforts and provide employee education and training related to infection control and workplace health and safety.
- Maintain required occupational health documentation , including the OSHA 300 Log.
- Stay current with applicable regulations and professional standards related to employee health, OSHA, infection control, OPWDD, and the Department of Health.
- Contribute to health and safety policies and procedures and assist with the agency’s Safety Data Sheet (SDS) system.

Requirements
What You Bring
- Current New York State RN license and registration .
- Current CPR certification .
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, organizational, and planning skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate a high level of professionalism.
- Ability to establish positive working relationships with employees, supervisors, and others.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
