- Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : Unit secretary 21 hours/day. 5 RN core. 10a-10p
- Type of equipment :Level 1 fluid warmer, Client monitor system, Artic sun, Lifepak, Alaris pumps
- Documentation system: Meditech documentation
- Scheduling
requirements
every third weekend. Mid-shift schedule. As early as 10a-2230, as late as 1300-0130.
- Floating policy: Rare. Only if other staff have been flexed home.

Use of AIDET, whiteboards. Positive attitudes only. Can do culture.
Hospital Specifics-
Certifications
ACLS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC, prefer CPI, CEN
Hiring profile
Requested Skill Set
Experience Emergency/Trauma nurse with no less than 2 years experience in level 2 trauma center.
Must have
ACLS, BLS, ENPC or PALS, TNCC, NIH
Advanced skills needed
Knowledge of trauma care, STEMI care, stroke care, sepsis and triage.
Procedures performed on unit: all procedures associated with level 2 trauma center.
Certifications Required: Current KS RN license and preferred CEN or TCRN certification.
Dress Code: (Required uniform)
- Cobalt blue top and black or cobalt blue pants. Solid color. Closed toe shoes
