  • Deliver expert patient assessment, monitoring vital signs, and evaluating physiological responses to treatment plans.

  • Administer medications, injections, IV insertions, and perform venipuncture with precision and care.
  • Operate and manage Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems to document medical records accurately and efficiently.
  • Respond swiftly to medical emergencies, utilizing CPR, AED operation, and acute care protocols to stabilize patients.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in hospital medicine, emergency medicine, pediatrics, geriatrics, and specialized units such as PICU or trauma centers.
  • Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA regulations and nursing policy standards to ensure patient confidentiality and legal adherence.
  • Communicate effectively with patients’ families, providing education on health conditions, treatments, and post-care instructions.

Qualifications

  • Valid licensure from the State Board of Nursing with current registration in good standing.
  • Proven experience in Level I or Level II trauma centers, emergency rooms, or urgent care environments.
  • Demonstrated expertise in medical-surgical nursing, pediatrics, geriatrics, or specialized areas such as infectious disease care or OR experience.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and emergency response procedures.
  • Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems for documentation and medical records management.
  • Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely while adhering to health regulations compliance standards.
  • Excellent patient assessment skills combined with compassionate parent communication when working in school clinics or outpatient settings.
