Details Work in the Adult Psychiatric unit of a hospital environment 13-week assignment on night shift, 7:00pm-7:30am 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week Required to work every other weekend and every other holiday May float to other Carle Health facilities including Methodist Hospital, Young Minds, Pekin Hospital, and Proctor Hospital Uses EPIC EMR charting system Requirements Active Illinois RN license in good standing required Current BLS certification (American Heart Association) required Minimum five (5) years of relevant nursing experience required ASN required, BSN preferred EPIC charting experience required Additional Information Serve as the primary caregiver for a designated group of adult psychiatric patients throughout each shift Complete initial patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care based on patient and family needs Implement and modify nursing interventions and care plans based on ongoing patient evaluation Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation to support continuity of care across the healthcare team Responsible for identifying and reporting safety hazards to ensure patient and employee safety Provide constructive feedback to peers and engage in ongoing professional development Responsible for unit keys during the assignment, which must be returned to the facility upon completion Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered; local candidates not accepted RTO not to exceed 7 total days per 13-week contract Must take a 6-month break in service after 1 year of continuous assignment before returning to any facility within this health system
