The Rose Center program provides short-term, intensive behavioral health support in a residential setting to youth experiencing acute emotional or psychiatric crises. The program focuses on rapid de-escalation, stabilization, and connection to ongoing care through a collaborative, trauma-informed approach. Services include comprehensive assessment, individualized treatment planning, therapeutic interventions, and coordination with families, schools, and healthcare providers to ensure a safe and supported transition to the appropriate level of care.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Demonstrates competency in age related or specialty issues and developmental needs for each population served.
- Develops and provides group therapy and psycho-educational groups designed to aid clients in understanding and maintaining their medications and side effects and to improve skills in living a healthy lifestyle.
- Provides crisis assessment and intervention to monitor status of clients in crisis.
- Provides home or outreach visits when appropriate.
- Maintains first aid supplies, disposal of hazardous waste, and destruction of medications and management of medication administration program as applicable according to agency policy.
- Monitors the Medication Administration Program, medications, and physician’s orders
Qualifications
Education
Graduate of a School of Nursing and RN Licensure.
Experience
Experience with mental health population. Experience working in a managed care environment.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: RN license to practice in State of CT. CPR/First Aid Certification within 6 months of hire.

Compensation*
$74,176.75/year minimum- $111,265.65/year maximum*
- Actual rates within this range are determined at the time of offer and are based on relevant experience, as well as adherence to our internal equity policy. (Please note, for part-time positions this range would be pro-rated based on hours worked)
