Southern Health Partners is looking for a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team at the Cabarrus County Jail in North Carolina.
Correctional nursing is a unique opportunity to use your clinical skills in an environment where your care can have a lasting impact. You'll work alongside a dedicated healthcare team providing essential medical services to patients while gaining valuable experience in a setting where no two shifts are exactly alike.
And because we know nights and weekends deserve a little extra recognition, eligible night and weekend hours qualify for
- shift differential pay.
What You'll Do Provide nursing care to patients in a correctional healthcare setting Administer medications and treatments as ordered Complete patient assessments and monitor changes in condition Respond to urgent and emergent healthcare needs Communicate with providers and the healthcare team regarding patient care Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Promote continuity of care throughout the facility Provide compassionate, professional care in a secure environment Qualifications Current LPN license in the state of North Carolina Current CPR certification Previous correctional, emergency, or other relevant nursing experience is helpful, but not required Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team Why Southern Health Partners?
