As our Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse, you will help expectant mothers navigate the miraculous, and sometimes challenging, journey of childbirth, ensuring safe deliveries and healthy beginnings for both mother and baby. Every day you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual patient care for women in labor, during delivery, and in the immediate postpartum period, focusing on maternal and fetal well-being. You will be expected to supervise care according to policies, procedures, and the State Nurse Practice Act. To be successful in this role, you must be skilled in delivering comprehensive, compassionate care in a fast-paced and emotionally charged environment while adhering to established standards.
Requirements
Nursing Degree from an approved school of nursing
At least two (2) years of recent clinical experience in Labor & Delivery required
Active Registered Nurse license in good standing with the North Dakota Board of Nursing or Active Registered Nurse license in a compact state
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certifications within the orientation period
Good communication skills
Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
