Where You Will Work

The Registered Nurse (RN) will be a valued teammate of a 44-bed medical-surgical unit, also known as Internal Medicine. We are committed to delivering exceptional care to adult patients with a wide range of medical diagnosis and conditions. In this role, the RN will work closely with the nursing care team complied of a healthcare technician and exercise physiologist to provide patient-centered care.

They will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive care plans, facilitate clear communication, and promote optimal recovery and patient well-being. The Internal Medicine unit provides a great learning environment for nurses with all experience levels and interests. We pride ourselves on creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for new teammates, focusing on teamwork, communication, positivity, and quality care.

Expectations We’re Looking For

Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing

Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices

Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

What You’ll Do

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.

• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Atrium Health Cabarrus is a 457-bed tertiary care facility serving Cabarrus, Mecklenburg, and surrounding counties.
