Key Points
Triage calls as needed and document the information in the patients EMR. Infusion Room administration of chemotherapy Rooming of patients and assisting physicians with treatment needs. Explain all processes to patients in plain language and utilize teach back to ensure understanding. Dialogues with the patient/chosen support system to identify what is important to them and incorporate his/her preferences and norms into the individualized care plan. Having Compassion for the Patient Population.

What We’re Looking For
RN licensure in NC or compact state Nursing degree from an accredited program (BSN preferred) Minimum of one to two years nursing experience, preferably in an oncology environment, required. Willingness to earn your Oncology Nursing Certification (OCN) within 30 months
