About this role
Pre-Op / PACU RN — Brand New Surgery Center Opening in Irving. Sphere Surgery Center is a brand new multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center opening this fall in Irving. Looking for experienced ASC nurses who are comfortable in both Pre-Op and PACU. Screen, admit, and prepare patients for surgery. Recover patients through Phase I and Phase II. Recognize and respond quickly to post-anesthesia complications. Discharge patients using objective criteria and complete follow-up calls. Flex between pre-op and PACU based on the day's case flow. Help prepare for state licensure and AAAHC accreditation surveys.

Requirements
- Active Texas RN license or compact privilege
- Active Texas RN license (or compact privilege)
- 2+ years perioperative RN experience, including at least 1 year in an ASC
- Cross-trained and competent in BOTH Pre-Op and PACU
- Current BLS and ACLS (AHA)
- Solid IV skills and confidence recovering patients from MAC, regional, and general anesthesia
