Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse to join our team at New Dawn Treatment Center in Reno, NV. In this pivotal role, you will contribute to our mission by providing compassionate support and effective therapeutic interventions to individuals seeking recovery. Your expertise will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of those we serve.

Responsibilities

Assesses the client's status on an ongoing basis and ensures that pertinent information is documented in the chart. Assists with medication administration. Assists with client safety checks. Performs client intakes. Completes routine chart audits when needed. Give thorough reports to oncoming staff. Provides coverage in emergency situations as needed. Communicates directly with providers Assists in training BHTs and other medical staff. Assists in obtaining coverage for call offs when necessary. Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Active Nevada LVN, LPT or RN license At least one year of experience in detox, residential treatment or related healthcare setting preferred.
