*Your role and

responsibilities

*

  • You will provide *supportive and therapeutic nursing care* to patients suffering from Mental Health disease processes and Behavioral Health illnesses.
  • Under the direction of a Psychiatrist, you will be *responsible for the overall assessment, implementation of treatment, and evaluation of quality nursing services* for children, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients in our Behavioral Health hospital.
  • As an RN on our team, you will have direct *responsibility for the provision of nursing care* and will direct patient care duties on the unit, medication management & administration, therapeutic treatment and the milieu within the Behavioral Health Hospital setting.
  • You will *work closely and productively* *with other professionals*, psychiatrists, therapists, clinical and case management resources to assure overall treatment of the patient following the plan of care. Provides skilled nursing services to improve care coordination and functioning of the patient during the inpatient hospitalization.
  • You will *document patient presentation, assessments, treatment*, medication administration, interactions and engagement on a consistent basis as well use nursing assessment and clinical evaluation skills to optimize patient care during inpatient hospitalization.

*Your Qualifications include:*

  • Must hold a *Wyoming (or Compact) Registered Nursing License*. Prefer Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. WILL TRAIN NEW GRADUATES!
  • Prefer one year of *experience in nursing care, psychiatric acute care*, residential care, partial care or equivalent is preferred, but will train new graduates.
  • Must have knowledge of developmental tasks of children, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients and apply knowledge in assessment and planning of care.
  • *Must be 21 years of age to apply & must have licensure as above *
