LVN – Mobile Wound Care / UltraMIST

Ventura Wound Care is seeking a reliable and compassionate *Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)* to join our growing mobile wound care team. This position will primarily focus on providing *UltraMIST® low-frequency ultrasound wound therapy* to patients in their homes, assisted living facilities, and other community settings throughout Ventura County.

Compensation

  • $55–$70 per completed patient visit, depending on experience and location.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to patients throughout Ventura County to provide scheduled wound care visits
  • Perform *UltraMIST therapy* according to provider orders and established protocols
  • Complete wound assessments, measurements, photos, and visit documentation
  • Monitor wounds for changes and communicate concerns promptly to the clinical team
  • Coordinate with our providers, office staff, home health agencies, and caregivers
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Provide professional, compassionate care to primarily older adult and homebound patients

Qualifications

  • Current California LVN license in good standing
  • Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and ability to travel between patient locations
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Comfortable working independently in patients' homes
  • Wound care or home health experience strongly preferred
  • UltraMIST experience is a plus, but *training can be provided for the right candidate*

Schedule

This is a *mobile/per-visit position* with scheduling coordinated geographically whenever possible. We are looking for someone who can provide consistent weekly availability and grow with our practice as our patient volume increases.

This is a great fit for an LVN looking for flexible, independent clinical work and an opportunity to develop specialized wound care experience.
