Position Overview

Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality nursing care in a Long-Term Care (LTC) setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering compassionate, safe, and individualized patient care while collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.

This position is ideal for an experienced LTC nurse who is committed to maintaining high standards of patient care and possesses strong clinical and communication skills.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Current, active, and unrestricted Colorado RN license is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience required.
  • Previous Long-Term Care (LTC) experience is required.
  • MDS experience preferred.
  • Current BLS/BCLS certification required.
  • Experience with PointClickCare/Point Click EMR is applicable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting.
  • Assess patient conditions and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
  • Monitor and document patient status, progress, and response to treatment.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, therapists, and other members of the healthcare team.
  • Provide patient and family education as appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
  • Follow facility policies, state regulations, and professional nursing standards.
  • Promote patient safety, dignity, comfort, and quality of life.
  • Participate in holiday coverage as required.
