Position: Med-Surf RN
Location: Boise, ID 83712
Shift: 3*12 Days
Contract: 13 weeks
Pay Rate: $2100-$2232/week

Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Ortho- total joints, ankle knee, hip, shoulder; traumatic fractures; ENT- thyroid surgeries, lap nissens, neck dissections (donor site, new site with implanted dopplers and 30 minute doppler checks, trachs) and facial reconstructions; Eyes-Graves disease patients have surgery on muscles to pull the eyes back; ED and ICU transfers- a lot of sepsis pts, a lot of high flow O2; Pediatric overflow patients- pneumonia, ortho surgeries, some peds behavioral- all peds on this unit have to qualify for adult ACLS weight wise, no ped med dosing- treated like an adult; General MedSurg- appys, choles, pneumonia, COPD.3 epilepsy beds- These patients are scheduled with an epileptologist- they come in Monday morning after stopping seizure meds the day before and are hooked up to EEG and video monitoring to see where
