This assignment in the Cath Lab offers hands-on experience with cutting-edge cardiac care for adult and geriatric patients. You’ll coordinate care in a surgical setting, manage dynamic patient needs, and work side-by-side with knowledgeable care teams. Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Active state Registered Nursing (RN) License required
- Current BCLS (AHA) and ACLS certifications, must be maintained
- At least one year of clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab (cardiac procedures) or Critical Care setting
- Proven ability in direct patient care and cardiovascular monitoring
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct care to adult and geriatric populations in the Cath Lab
- Address psychosocial and physical needs related to cardiac procedures
- Maintain continuous communication with physicians regarding patient conditions
- Prepare, assess, and maintain procedure rooms and equipment
- Procure supplies and ensure readiness for each case
- Monitor and document patient condition and vitals during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Engage in performance improvement and quality initiatives
