About this role
As a Nurse (Occupational Health) you will provide direct support for the development, implementation, and administration of the District's Occupational Health Program. Coordinate medical support services, refer employees for follow up with personal health care providers, implement a comprehensive Occupational Health Nursing Program, and secure and maintain employee occupational health medical records in compliance with Privacy Act and HIPAA. Requires a current, valid, active Registered Nurse (RN) license, CAOHC certification, NIOSH approved spirometry certification, BLS/CPR certification within first year, clinical titer testing or proof of immunity for Rubella, Rubeola, and Hepatitis B, mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination, valid State Driver's License, pre-employment drug screening and random drug testing.
Requires a graduate or higher level degree, bachelor's degree, associate degree, or diploma from an accredited professional nursing educational program. GS-12 level requires one or more full years of professional nursing experience including at least 2 out of 3 specified areas of practice.
