About this role
The Osborne Institute of Healthcare Education is seeking a California-licensed RN or qualified LVN to join their instructional team. This part-time, hybrid position may include live online theory instruction, in-person skills laboratory instruction, in-person clinical supervision, or a combination of these responsibilities. The instructor will teach the California Nurse Assistant Training Program (NATP) curriculum, conduct engaging live online theory classes, supervise students during clinical rotations at affiliated skilled nursing facilities, demonstrate and evaluate CNA skills and competencies, monitor student progress, and ensure compliance with CDPH regulations.

Requirements
- California-licensed RN
- qualified LVN
- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license
- Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience
- At least one (1) year of experience providing care to elderly or chronically ill patients in a skilled nursing facility, long-term care, rehabilitation, acute care, or a similar healthcare setting
- Must meet California Department of Public Health (CDPH) Nurse Assistant Training Program (NATP) instructor qualifications
- One (1) year of experience planning, implementing, and evaluating educational programs in nursing OR completion of twenty-four (24) hours of BRN-approved or accredited coursework in teaching adults
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to teach and mentor adult learners in both classroom and clinical settings
- Ability to meet all required health screening, background clearance, and clinical facility requirements
