About this role
Registered Nurse I (New Graduate) position at R. Keith Summey Ambulatory Pre/Post covering pediatric and adult surgical specialties including ENT, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, Dental, Plastics, Urology, General Surgery, and Endoscopy. Patients needing general anesthesia are prepped and recovered on-site and discharged same day. Prep and Recovery open Mon-Fri 0530-1700. Under general supervision, assists at the advanced beginner level in providing individualized, goal directed nursing care to patients and families utilizing principles and practices of the nursing process.

Requirements
- RN License (South Carolina Board of Nursing or compact state)
- BLS Certification required (AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer)
- ACLS required within 6 months of hire
- PALS required within 6 months of hire
- Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred
- Associate or Diploma degree in nursing acceptable (must enroll in BSN program within 2 years and obtain BSN within 4 years)
