About this role
Performs clinical anesthesia duties and takes appropriate responsibility for direct patient care and for on-call as assigned. Prioritizes anesthetic decisions, administers anesthetic agents following protocols and guidelines and communicates patient status to healthcare team members. This individual performs coordinating duties by facilitating staff coverage, assignments and breaks in the surgical area.
This individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development of the life span. The ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and appropriately interpret information relative to the patient's age-specific needs is required. The CRNA demonstrates leadership through involvement on committees and/team projects, education, and research and actively seeks to improve the practice of nursing through performance improvement initiatives.

There is an $80k bonus for this position. Must be certified as a registered nurse and as a registered nurse anesthetist in North Dakota. Valid North Dakota registered nurse licensure, American Association of Nurse Anesthetist (AANA) certification, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Basic Life Support (BLS).
This is a full-time, exempt position working in the Level II Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center hospital, Essentia Health-Fargo. We are looking for a CRNA to join our general pool. This includes call, weekends and 1-2 holidays per year.
Competitive salary and benefits. The Anesthesia group consists of 28 full-time CRNAs and 10 Anesthesiologists. This group staffs 11 ORs, Endo, IR, Cath Lab, Radiology and OB.
Compensation Range: $295,568.00 - $295,568.00.
