Minerva Home Healthcare is in need of Registered Nurses to fill Per Diem home infusion positions.
We specialize in providing IV infusion therapies. Our Maryland branch covers the Greater Baltimore area and the counties south to Washington DC . We are currently looking to fill multiple positions in and around Montgomery County.
Due to our patient population and coverage area, we can work with you to coordinate a schedule that best fits your needs.
Minerva is owned and operated by nurses. The level of care our patients receive is always our top priority. We are looking for nurses who believe the same. Who strive to make a positive difference in the lives of their patients and their caregivers. Truly case managing their care in the comfort of their own homes. This requires compassionate professionals, able to operate with autonomy while following health and safety guidelines faithfully and consistently.
*Responsibilities*
* Monitor and document patients' conditions and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice.
* Observe and interpret patients' symptoms and communicate them to physicians and pharmacies when necessary.
* Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, lab draws, dressing changes, administering injections, etc.)
* Adjust and administer patient's medication and provide treatments according to physician's orders.
* Foster, a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families
*Skills*
* Proven experience as a registered nurse.
* Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures.
* In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination etc.) and willingness to follow them at all times.
* A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Responsible and compassionate.
* Outstanding organizational, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills.
* BSc or another diploma from a nursing program
* Valid nursing license.
Current Driver's License and vehicle insurance, and access to a vehicle are required. Ability and willingness to drive to different patients' homes.
Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
