Position overview
As an LVN Field Nurse, you will provide one-on-one skilled nursing care to patients in the comfort of their homes. This position is ideal for nurses who are confident in their clinical skills, enjoy working independently in the field, and value having the support of an experienced clinical team.
Responsibilities
- Perform skilled nursing procedures, including injections, wound care, Foley catheter care, blood draws, and other ordered treatments
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Monitor patients and communicate changes, concerns, and progress to the clinical team
- Follow established plans of care and physician orders
- Collaborate with supervising RNs and other members of the care team
- Provide patient and family education regarding treatments and ongoing care
- Deliver safe, compassionate, and high-quality care during every home visit
Qualifications
- Active California LVN license
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a facility setting
- Must be confident performing skilled nursing procedures, including injections, wound care, Foley catheter care, and blood draws
- Valid driver’s license
- Active auto insurance
- Current CPR certification
- Current physical examination
- Successful completion of a background check
Schedule
We are currently seeking LVNs interested in full-time field work. Part-time availability will also be considered.
