Responsibilities

Responsible for the day-to-day supervisory operations of the assigned patient care unit. Duties may include: clinical coordinator/charge function, provision of hands-on patient care, planning for the continuity of care for forecasting the next shifts needs, administrative call, and clinical/human resources problem solving. Ensures optimal patient outcomes and satisfaction through ongoing performance initiatives with multidisciplinary teams according to the age/needs of the patient population served.

Participating in unit, facility or organization wide performance improvement initiatives. Supervises monthly financial operational and clinical services to ensure adequate staffing and scheduling. Participate in hiring staff, monitor performance of employees and takes corrective action as necessary.

Provides input into staff annual performance reviews. Establishes credibility with physicians, management and outside partners/vendors. Promotes professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/c
