*Cypress Creek Assisted Living & Memory Care Residence is a family-owned and operated retirement community located in Sun City Center.*
*LPN Opening:*
*Part-time*
Desired applicant will work 7am - 7pm (2) days per week, including every other weekend rotation _as needed_. Paid weekly.

This is a hands-on nursing position; we are seeking an LPN that has the desire and passion to care for the elderly.

- The qualified applicant must hold a current state of Florida nursing license
- Must have the ability to remain calm under stressful conditions
- Must meet all health requirements, including TB, and pass background checks
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Must pass level two background screening
- Dependability is a must
- Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly
- One year of nursing experience preferred, preferably in an assisted living environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the general public
- Proficiency with computers
- Successfully complete training as required by Cypress Creek ALF in accordance with state regulations
*Job duties include but are not limited to:*
- Providing hands-on nursing services to residents, medication & treatment administration
- Working as a team with a caregiver (CNA/RA) that is working with you to ensure the resident's needs are met
- Assist in providing feedback to Wellness Director & Resident Care Director to assist with care plans as needed for Residents
- Willing to seek out new methods and principles, incorporating them into existing nursing practices
- Evidence & ongoing display of basic leadership skills and supervision
- Provide resident-directed services that honor individual lifestyles and preferences
- Interpret facility policies and procedures to staff, residents, visitors, and government agencies as required
- Manage resident emergencies, assessment of resident conditions, and complete necessary documents
- Act as a role model for all staff demonstrating a high standard of service that supports the organization’s mission and values
