About this role
The Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing safe, high-quality infusion therapy and nursing care to patients in an outpatient infusion center. The RN performs patient assessments, administers infusion medications, monitors patient responses, educates patients and caregivers, and collaborates with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- Current Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification required
- Minimum one (1) year of infusion therapy experience, including IV insertion and patient assessment
- PICC line training or experience preferred
- Previous outpatient infusion, oncology, biologics, or home infusion experience preferred
- Strong IV insertion and venous access skills
