About this role
Minerva Home Healthcare is in need of Registered Nurses to fill Per Diem home infusion RN positions.
We specialize in providing IV infusion therapies. Our service area covers most of Northern Virginia including, Fairfax, Arlington, Loudoun, Prince William, and Stafford County.
- *For this position: we are looking for a nurse who could case manage patients living between Farifax, Alexandria, and Herndon Virginia. *
Due to our patient population and coverage area, we can work with you to coordinate a schedule that best fits your needs. While the Per Diem position allows for complete flexibility, we require a minimum of 10 hours a week.

*Responsibilities*
- Monitor and document patients’ conditions and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice.
- Observe and interpret patients’ symptoms and communicate them to physicians and pharmacies when necessary.
- Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, lab draws, dressing changes, administering injections, etc.)
- Adjust and administer patient’s medication and provide treatments according to physician’s orders.
- Foster, a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families
*Skills*
- Proven experience as a registered nurse.
- Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures.
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination etc.) and willingness to follow them at all times.
- A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Responsible and compassionate.
- Outstanding organizational, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills.
- BSc or another diploma from a nursing program
- Valid nursing license.
Current Driver’s License and vehicle insurance, and access to a vehicle are required. Ability and willingness to drive to different patients' homes.
Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
