Responsibilities

*

  • Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for a variety of urgent and acute medical conditions (e.g., respiratory infections, minor injuries, gastrointestinal issues, urinary tract infections, etc.)
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including labs and imaging
  • Perform minor procedures such as suturing, splinting, and incision & drainage
  • Prescribe appropriate medications and develop evidence-based treatment plans
  • Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other care team members as needed for higher-level care coordination
  • Document clinical encounters accurately and timely within the electronic health record
  • Educate patients on their conditions, treatment options, and follow-up care

*Minimum Availability Requirements*

  • Commitment to a minimum of 3 shifts per quarter, with at least 1 shift on a weekend.
  • Ability to rotate across *3 urgent care locations*, with site flexibility based on staffing needs
  • *Preferred: *Flexibility to provide last-minute coverage when needed.

*Qualifications and Experience*

  • FNP/Family Nurse Practitioner, APRN, Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant/PA Current Advanced Practice license
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in Urgent Care Preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • BLS – Required

Pay: $50.00 - $70.00 per hour
