We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Psychiatric Registered Nurse (Psych RN) to join our dynamic healthcare team for the day shift. - Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including mental status examinations and vital signs, to determine current needs and treatment plans

- Administer medications and treatments accurately, including psychotropic medications and injections, following prescribed protocols
- Monitor patients closely for changes in behavior or condition, responding promptly to emergencies or escalating concerns
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and case managers to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Maintain detailed and accurate medical documentation within electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner
- Provide patient education on medication management, coping strategies, and discharge instructions to promote ongoing recovery
- Ensure a safe environment by adhering to infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and trauma-informed care practices
Requirements
- Valid RN license with current registration in the state of practice
- Proven experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, behavioral health conditions, or in psychiatric settings
- Knowledge of psychiatric medications, including psychotropic drug administration and side effect management
