What You Will Be Doing
- Development and implementation of correctional nurse education.
- Coordinate healthcare services with other correctional departments, such as security, mental health, reentry, and education.
- Work with electronic record keeping for nursing continuing education and compliance maintenance.
- Work within a multi-disciplinary team in a leadership role.
- Continuous maintenance and tracking of nursing education and compliance for greater than 150 staff members.

Requirements
- Eligibility for licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Alaska
- Three years of cumulative experience as a Registered Nurse, at least one of which must have involved directing and reviewing the work of lower-level professional nursing staff on a unit and/or shift
