Position Overview: Provides professional nursing care in the outpatient surgical setting, supporting patients undergoing invasive procedures. Key Responsibilities Performs scrub functions, selecting and handling instruments and supplies. Conducts circulating duties by monitoring, recording, and communicating patient conditions. Assists surgeons with tasks such as hemostasis, suturing, wound exposure, and patient positioning. Prepares operating rooms, surgical instruments, and equipment for procedures. Qualifications And Skills Licensed Registered Nurse credential from the Alabama Board of Nursing. BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire, accepted from American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Minimum of a diploma from an accredited nursing school. Additional Information: Must maintain licensure and certification requirements to deliver safe, effective care in a fast-paced surgical environment.
