Assignment Overview Shift: Days, 4x10hrs Hours: 40 hrs/wk Start Date: May 25, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Atlanta, GA, with robotics experience required and on-call responsibilities.
Details Position is in a hospital operating room setting AM shift, 10-hour shifts (approximately 6:30 AM – 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 9:30 PM depending on assignment) 1–2 shifts per week may require staying late (e.g., 6:40 AM – 7:10 PM) Evening call required: 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM One overnight call shift per 4-week block (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM) 24 hours of weekend call per 4-week block (can be split into a 12-hour shift); self sign-up Robotics experience is needed for this position Requirements Active GA RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand Minimum 18 months of OR experience required Robotics experience required Travel nursing experience preferred Additional Information Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted Former permanent staff of Emory or Houston facilities must be separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system; if returning to this same facility, a minimum 18-month separation is required RTO is capped at 5 days if it does not fall on or near a holiday, and 3 days if it falls on or near a holiday Only one holiday RTO request is permitted per contract; consecutive RTO days during the holiday period will not be approved
