The OB Coordinator is a registered nurse who has primary administrative oversight of the OB program at CAPS & Maple City. While also providing care to OB patients, this individual oversees and coordinates the work of the OB team. We are looking for a talented and motivated individual who is passionate about health care and is eager to contribute to a collaborative team.

Duties and
Responsibilities
- Fosters a culture of high-trust and collaboration with an orientation towards growth on the OB team
- Collaborates with other organization leaders to ensure the provision of quality patient care for OB patients
- Collaborates closely with other organizational leaders to ensure that patients are experiencing one CAPS & Maple City, regardless of point of entry or site of clinical care.
- Supervises, trains, and supports the OB nurses in their work
- Provides training and support to the MA team and Nurse team for OB patient needs
- Coordinates the work of Centering Pregnancy and Parenting Groups for patients at MCHCC
- Develops and manages all OB lists, workflows, and protocols
- Collaborates with HR and Site Director in the hiring, firing, and performance of OB nurses
- Communicates with, and participates in the work with Community Partners to coordinate OB care for patients, collaborating with other organization-wide leaders when appropriate.
- Collaborates with the cross-disciplinary care team to address the wholistic needs of patients
- Coordinates care for OB patients
- Coordinates and works with Centering Pregnancy groups in collaboration with the CAPS and Maple City Group Facilitator
- Provides oversight to the Doula program
- Facilitates and leads monthly OB meetings, including OB Coordination and OB High Risk
- Maintains skills competency by participating in scheduled trainings, leading competencies for OB Nursing Skills for those that need it
- Demonstrates effective interpersonal skills
- Other duties that support our shared work, as assigned

Education and
Experience
- Registered Nurse Required
- BSN Required
- Minimum of 5 years of OB experience, preferably both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Basic Life Support Certification preferred
- Trauma Informed Care approach preferred
- Motivational Interviewing training preferred

- Travel between sites
- Ability to perform prolonged periods of time in front of a computer.
