About this role

*Job Summary* We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Locums Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team on a temporary basis. In this role, you will provide high-quality patient care in the outpatient setting. Your expertise will support patient assessments, treatment plans while ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and regulations.

We use e-clinical works EMR.

*Responsibilities*

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical histories using eClinicalWorks.
  • Perform diagnostic evaluations utilizing medical imaging, laboratory data collection, and diagnostic coding (ICD-10/ICD-9) to inform treatment plans.
  • Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems

*Requirements*

  • Valid licensure as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with current state certification; DEA license preferred for medication administration.
  • Proficiency with EMR eClinicalWorks and experience with telehealth platforms is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, CPT coding for procedures, ICD coding for diagnoses, and medical records management.
  • Ability to perform physical examinations accurately; skilled in diagnostic evaluation and patient assessment across diverse clinical scenarios.
  • Commitment to maintaining HIPAA standards; ability to work independently within outpatient settings while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Pay: $55.00 - $70.00 per hour
