Cedar Healthcare Center, a senior living and rehabilitation community in Portsmouth, NH, is seeking a dependable and compassionate Nurse to join our team.
We are currently hiring for per diem / PRN positions with flexible scheduling — with the option for part-time morning shifts if desired.

Position: Nurse (RN or LPN!)
Schedule
Per diem / PRN – Flexible scheduling (work when it fits your schedule!)
Optional part-time morning shifts available (7:00am – 3:00pm)
Location: Portsmouth, NH
Pay Range: $33.00 - $53.00 (varying based on license and years of experience)
What You’ll Do
Provide direct nursing care in accordance with care plans, policies, and state/federal regulations
Supervise and direct daily activities of LNAs, LPNs, and assigned staff
Participate in admissions, transfers, and discharges
Assess resident conditions and communicate changes to physicians and families
Transcribe and implement physician orders
Administer medications and monitor for adverse reactions
Perform treatments, including wound care, and document progress
Provide skilled nursing care such as IV administration, tube feedings, suctioning, and colostomy care as needed
Conduct rounds to ensure resident needs are met and staff performance is on track
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team on care planning and updates
Support infection control, QAPI initiatives, and survey readiness
Maintain accurate documentation and appropriate supply levels
What We’re Looking For
Current, unrestricted RN or LPN license in New Hampshire
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
CPR/BLS certification
Strong leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills
Ability to prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Long-term care experience preferred, but new grads welcome!
