Qualifications

- Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
- Active Registered Nurse license in the State of Alaska
- Current BLS certification required
- PALS/ACLS (or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire)
- National PICU certification preferred
- Ongoing continuing education (30 hours every 2 years; 16 hours in specialty area)

Responsibilities

- Deliver safe, effective, and timely nursing care in accordance with professional standards
- Perform comprehensive assessments, interventions, and evaluations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans
- Operate and monitor advanced life-support equipment (e.g., ventilators, cardiac monitors)
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and families
- Ensure adherence to evidence-based practices and safety standards
- Supervise and support LPNs, Nursing Assistants, and Patient Support Assistants
Pay: $42.00 - $62.00 per hour
