General

Summary

Administers the day to day Care to clients regarding their health and wellness, ensuring compliance with established company and regulatory guidelines and procedures to provide high quality treatment services and outstanding client care. Participates in the implementation of company initiatives and strategies, ensures compliance with all pertinent company policies and regulatory requirements.

Duties and

Responsibilities

  • Strictly enforce and support person served rights and confidentiality of information as required by HIPAA, federal and state rules and regulations concerning treatment facilities.
  • Medication and overall Healthcare Training
  • Collaborate with CMO and Medical Director for medications, Detox protocol, medical orders and/or anything else pertaining to client care.
  • Oversee and ensure accuracy in completion of all documentation pertaining to client care throughout the company.
  • Evaluate and gather and document information on client status for all levels of care to report to Medical Director.
  • Oversee departmental schedules
  • CIWA/COWS
  • Help with monitoring the self-administered medication for client.
  • Assuring client care is priority in all levels of care
  • Oversee Medication Audits according to policy and procedure
  • Doing required reports that are required by compliance regarding audits and medical care of clients done by Medical Director.
  • On-Call Rotation for client care
  • Being present with clients as an advocate on status when clients are being seen by MD.
  • Other duties and responsibilities assigned as needed. Review all of client’s files to ensure best practices.
  • Liaison between Lab and contracted medical director.
  • Maintain and adhere to all federal, state and county regulations regarding Client confidentiality and staff code of conduct.
  • Support clinicians with proper training on documentation to support client care for Utilization review.
  • Work with training department on providing information for training Client mentors on detox and safety procedures.

Qualifications

  • Previous recovery center experience preferred
  • Office/business operation skills preferred
  • Communication and presentation skills preferred
  • Excellent customer service and people skills (including one-on-one interaction and group environment)
  • Proven organization and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated computer skills
  • Experience Greater than 8 years in psych and substance.
  • Experience greater than 5 years in a management role.
  • Experience greater than 8 years in the hospital in all specialties.

Required skills and licenses

  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong knowledge of state/federal regulations and Joint Commission standards
  • Higher learning degree with a minimum of bachelor’s degree
  • First aid, TB clearance, and CPR certification.
  • Valid RN license required or a higher learning degree minimum of a bachelor's.
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Proficient in HIPAA and strong adherence to code of confidentiality
  • Health screen with TB results
