Akron General’s Postpartum Unit provides compassionate, safe care to every mother and baby. Our specially trained nursing staff helps welcome more than 3,000 new babies into the world every year. We believe that by continually assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care based on evidence-based practice, sound clinical judgment and critical thinking skills, our caregivers provide safe, quality, expert and compassionate care. In addition to our highly qualified nurses, maternal-fetal medicine specialists and anesthesiologists are also available 24/7 in our unit.
As Assistant Nurse Manager, you will support the nurse manager by providing clinical supervision and unit coordination. This position offers a great way to gain extensive leadership experience while continuing to provide the best support and treatment possible.

Requirements
- RN license in Ohio
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Completion of Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
