RN Supervisor Job Summary: Stroudsburg Post Acute Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated RN Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our nursing staff, the successful candidate will assume responsibility for a specific unit or area within the organization, including assessment, medication distribution, treatment, clinical documentation, and supervision of Nursing Staff and other staff as needed. Responsibilities and Standards: Reviews admission orders for accuracy Monitors clinical issues or any staffing issues and all other assigned projects as needed Inputs the 24-hour report electronically on the unit Sets up discharge instructions In-services nursing staff as needed Completes fall incident reports and ensures all documentation is in place as per regulatory agency (State and Ombudsman Standards) Additional Responsibilities: Performs assessments related to skin, cardiac, respiratory, GI, neurological, muscular skeletal, and pain Accurately documents on the following forms: ambulation/restorative care, psychotropic monitoring, pain management, pressure ulcer management/skin assessment, fall prevention strategies, antibiotic documentation, incidents/accidents, and nurses' notes Accurately and timely completes nursing assessment and data collection upon admission Contacts physicians for admission orders and reconciles medications Facility-Wide Responsibilities and Standards: Demonstrates ability to work with others cooperatively Speaks English in patient care areas Attends mandatory and scheduled In-services/meetings Arrives to work on time as scheduled If you are a motivated and compassionate nursing professional looking for a new challenge, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
